1. What we collect

• Account details: name, phone number, email and profile photo.
• Trip data: pickup, destination, route, time and fare.
• Location while the app is in use for booking or during an active ride.
• For drivers: identity, licence, vehicle and verification documents.
• Messages and reports you send to support.

2. How it’s used

To match rides, verify drivers, power Guardian Circle sharing, process payments, prevent fraud, handle support and improve safety. We don’t sell personal data to advertisers.

3. Guardian Circle

Trip sharing with trusted contacts is opt-in and rider-controlled. Sharing stops automatically once a trip ends.

4. Sharing

Riders and drivers see limited information about each other needed to complete a trip. We share data with service providers who help us run Step Ride, with institutional partners only for programs you are part of, and with authorities where the law requires.

5. Retention & security

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and protect it with access controls and encryption in transit.

6. Your choices

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or update your preferences at any time from your account or by contacting us.
